Rules for Class

All canines must be vaccinated for Distemper (DHLPP), Rabies and Bordetella. Vaccination dates must be current for your animal’s age and vet’s recommendations. All canines must be free of fleas and parasites. Puppies must have started their vaccination regime.

At all times, canines are required to be on a leash and a collar that they can’t slip out of. Please check your buckle collar for a snug fit prior to entering the first night of class.

Please give every dog and puppy at least 3 feet of space between each other. Once we know who likes whom, socialization can commence.

Children are welcome as long as an adult, who is not handling a dog, is present to watch the child. It is best to discourage your children from petting

You must be 18 years of age to participate unless accompanied by your legal guardian or parent.

Please notify the instructor if your dog is aggressive. Depending on the aggression issue, group classes may be prohibited.

You must clean up after your dog inside and outside. Come prepared with baggies for scooping poop. Mops, disinfectants and trashcans will be provided. Walk your dog prior to class to avoid accidents.

Enrollment is on a first register basis. Payment in full is due when registering for class. There are no refunds for services or equipment.

Come prepared with cat size treats for your dog or puppy. Hotdogs, cubed cheese, and Pounce cat treats are great rewards. We do have treats at class, but, some canines prefer their own.

Included in the cost of the Beginner Class is nylon training collar and 6-foot leash. If you dog requires additional collars or leashes due to loss, damage or behavior, the additional equipment will be your financial responsibility.
